Continuing our active research phase in Jyväskylä, in February 2026 Experience Workshop visited Vastatuulen daycare to conduct another pilot session for the Erasmus+ KA2 project, EARLY-POLY. This project explores the use of the innovative Poly-Universe toolkit in preschool education, aiming to create a comprehensive guide for teachers working with children aged 3-10.
Poly-Universe Excercises at The Fox Nest Daycare
In the middle of February 2026, Experience Workshop visited the local English-speaking daycare, The Fox Nest. The visit was a key milestone in our ongoing Erasmus+ KA2 project, EARLY-POLY. Announcing the EARLY-POLY Methodological Study Book: A New Resource for STEAM Education
The Methodological Study book for the ERASMUS+ EARLYPOLY project is now published free-to-use. This comprehensive resource is now available in both English and Hungarian. Experience Workshop is proud to have contributed as a project partner, with our STEAM director, Dr Kristóf Fenyvesi, shaping the STEAM methodological foundation of this work.
EARLY-POLY peer-to-peer meeting and training in France
The project’s international partners convened in September 2025 for a in-person working session. The meeting was hosted by our French partner, the Espace de l’Art Concret (EAC), in the beautiful setting of Mouans-Sartoux, France.

Project-Based Learning Webinar Supporting the Sino-Finnish School Partnership
Experience Workshop continues to facilitate the connection between Hua Yuan Primary School in Beijing and Jyskä Primary School in Jyväskylä. This sister school partnership began with a successful visit in 2024 and the schools are now looking forward to the second visit in 2026.
From First Success to Lasting Connection: A Hungarian School’s Return to Finland
In November, Experience Workshop welcomed back a school group from the Csontváry Primary School in Hungary. This six-day Erasmus+ mobility in Jyväskylä built upon the great success of their first visit a year earlier. The group included 20 students, two teachers there to observe Finnish classrooms, one accompanying teacher, and a second teacher who took part in a professional training course on AI and digital skills.
