Exploring New Pathways with Poly-Universe in Early Education

In our current Erasmus+ KA2 project, Poly-Universe in Preschool and Lower Primary School Education (EARLY-POLY), our team has been exploring new pathways for the Poly-Universe toolkit. Our main goal has been to discover how to make the toolkit more inclusive and how to adapt its activities for children with different learning needs. This phase is also about finding new, creative ways to use Poly-Universe in education and developing new technical approaches, including ideas for digital extensions and modified physical formats.

We decided to apply this toolkit in a new context: a professional teacher course on Social and Emotional learning. Under the guidance of our STEAM director, Dr. Kristof Fenyvesi, a group of teachers explored how to use Poly-Universe in the classroom to support social and emotional development. The working group successfully invented new practices in this area, demonstrating the versatility of the tool.
