Education works best when it combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on activity, and when it connects learners directly with the people and environments where that knowledge comes to life. In late March 2026, Experience Workshop organised an educational tour in Jyväskylä for a group of 20 students and 3 teachers and a principal NAME from Shatin Pui Ying High School in Hong Kong.
On the 17th of February, 2026, Experience Workshop organised and hosted an in-person meeting, bringing together key representatives Counsellor Al Fadil bin Adam and Ms. Satu Spratley from the Malaysian Embassy in Finland, the University of Jyväskylä (JYU), and its own educational network. This event was designed to discuss and explore pathways for cooperation in research, education, and student exchange between Finland and Malaysia.
Experience Workshop continues to facilitate the connection between Hua Yuan Primary School in Beijing and Jyskä Primary School in Jyväskylä. This sister school partnership began with a successful visit in 2024 and the schools are now looking forward to the second visit in 2026.
Experience Workshop’s participation in didacta asia 2025 highlights growing STEM/STEAM education collaboration between Finland and Southeast Asia.
Experience Workshop and the organisation SEAMEO STEM-ED (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for STEM Education) entered into a new educational partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding in Jyväskylä/Finland.
We are proud to share that Experience Workshop is now member of the EDUCATION FINLAND community!
