Get inspired by STEAM education!

On 25. April, 17.00h (CET) European Commission’s School Education Gateway is organizing a thematic webinar with Experience Workshop’s founder, Kristóf Fenyvesi. The webinar will focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education in the European context.

Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo were not only sculptors and painters but also inventors, engineers and scientists; for them there were no boundaries between science and the arts. Adding A for Arts into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to make STEAM, implies an interdisciplinary approach. In this, students are encouraged to be systematic and experimental, as well as imaginative and making new connections between ideas.

In the webinar we will explore how to embed interdisciplinarity and innovation in school work, and how adding the “A” for Arts can help schools to provide more creative and authentic learning experiences!
