The STEAM Connect project has been on a mission to transform teaching methods in classrooms! The STEAM Connect project culminated in a successful multiplier event on Friday, September 27th, at 19:00, held in the Agora Building hallway at Jyväskylä University. It was a great opportunity to showcase the results of our project, including a collection of STEAM curricula developed by teachers themselves! See these resources designed to bring the best of STEAM to your classroom.
Traditionally, education often keeps subjects separate. STEAM Connect breaks down these walls, encouraging teachers to explore the connections between them. Imagine students using 3D printing to design bridges strong enough to hold a miniature car, or composing music with code! This transdisciplinary approach opens a world of creative problem-solving and fosters valuable skills for the future.
Our project focused on developing innovative teaching methods and resources alongside educators. From open-source tools like GeoGebra and Raspberry Pi to cutting-edge technologies like Augmented Reality, we equipped teachers with engaging resources to support student learning experience.
We believe that learning should be inspiring, engaging, and full of possibilities, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) is the perfect launchpad.
While STEAM Connect is wrapping up its three-year adventure, the impact on education will continue to grow. We invite teachers, students, and anyone passionate about learning to explore our resources.
