Creative reinterpretation of science with Erasmus+ PUNTE partners

Early April, Erasmus+ PUNTE partners met in Oradea to discuss the current tasks of the project, which is approaching its end. The international meeting was timed to coincide with the multiplier event of the Romanian partner, so there was plenty of opportunity also for professional discussions during these few days. All partners had something to contribute to this highly professional event, with participants showing a keen interest in the potential of PolyUniverse in higher education.

The presentations covered a wide range of applications of PolyUniverse. For example, they discussed how it can be used to outline microeconomics problems, how it can support teachers in inclusive education, or how its use can increase students’ motivation in teacher training. Eleonóra Stettner explained in her presentation how colours and proportions become music with PolyUniverse (see picture below).

Experience Workshop was represented with the presentation of Panni Petró, who talked about an Integrated Product Design Course realised at BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics), where Dr. Kristóf Fenyvesi and János Saxon Szász participated as invited experts and presented STEAM-based creativity games and community building strategies, and supported BME students in the development of tool-based strategy-building activities.

After the official part of the programme, the project partners continued their discussions while visiting the fascinating sights of Oradea.

The event was a real celebration of the project. If you would like to have a look at the results already available, visit the project website, where the PUNTE Methodological Study and practical activity sheets in the task repository are now available.
