Shoes Off, Minds On: What Italian Teachers and Students Learned in a Finnish School

The most profound learning happens at the intersection of innovation, collaboration, and cultural exchange. This was brought to life from October 20th to October 25th, as we had the pleasure of hosting a group of 8 teachers and 12 students from Convitto Nazionale Benevento in Italy for a 6-day Erasmus+ combined mobility in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Finnish Vocational School System: Hungarian Educators on a Learning Journey in Jyväskylä

In a significant step towards international professional development, eighteen educators from Hungary recently participated in a four-day Erasmus+ job shadowing mobility in Jyväskylä, Finland. The delegation, representing Nagykun Baptist Education Center and Illéssy Sándor Technical School and Vocational School, engaged in a comprehensive program organized by Experience Workshop. The focus of their visit was to explore the renowned Finnish vocational education system, with particular emphasis on mentoring students who require special support.

Teacher Training Course: Project-Based Learning in the Heart of Finland

Ten teachers from primary and secondary schools in Czechia, Hungary, Lithuania, and Germany took part in an Erasmus+ teacher training course focused on Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Jyväskylä, Finland, from August 18th to 23rd. The training was led by an experienced Finnish trainer, Jukka Lehtoranta.

Teacher Training Course: Bringing Finnish STEAM Innovation to Our Classrooms

From August 11th to 16th, a group of ten educators from primary and secondary schools in Czechia and Hungary participated in an Erasmus+ teacher training course in Jyväskylä, Finland. The focus of the six-day programme was STEAM in school education, a method that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into a cohesive learning experience.

Teacher Training Course in AI and Digital Competences

From May 5th to May 10th, 2024, three upper secondary school teachers from Austria and Germany participated in an Erasmus+ staff mobility training course in Jyväskylä, Finland. The program, organized by Experience Workshop and led by trainer Jukka Lehtoranta, focused on AI and Digital Competences in Everyday Teaching.
