Creativity for Sustainable Education Symposium, 20-22 April

UNESCO has declared April 21st as the World Creativity and Innovation Day followed by World Earth Day on April 22.

Commemorating these 2 special days, the symposium organizer CCE Finland, in cooperation with Experience Workshop, is ready to welcome researchers & educators around the world for its 9th Symposium on Creative Education focusing on ‘Creativity for Sustainable Education’

For UNESCO, education for sustainable development involves: Integrating key sustainable development issues into teaching and learning. This may include, for example, instruction about climate change, disaster risk reduction, biodiversity, and poverty reduction and sustainable consumption. It also requires participatory teaching and learning methods that motivate and empower learners to change their behaviors and take action for sustainable development. ESD consequently promotes competencies like critical thinking, imagining future scenarios and making decisions in a collaborative way.

Through this symposium, we aim to provide a common global forum to esteemed researchers and educators to present their research/innovation on how creativity plays an important role in designing new tools for sustainable development. The 9th Symposium promises insights on key methodology, real-time classroom implementation and some meaningful debates and discussion.

We welcome paper presentations from researchers/teachers and school owners – please submit here – https://forms.gle/dEj5NTdEVTFZNjDq9
