This was Experience Workshop’s STEAM Oasis at Helsinki Design Week 2019

This year’s children’s program center within the Helsinki Design Week was at Annantalo, a place for arts learning for elementary school classes and also afternoon arts courses. Experience Workshop’s STEAM workshop was an oasis along the design path which lead through the building. The Children’s Design Week was planned and designed by the children’s books’ publisher Etana Editions and Suomu ry (the Finnish Association of Design Learning).

Almost every day Experience Workshop did something special, involving Logifaces, Poly-Universe (making use of the brand new teaching material with over 100 exercises – free to download), LUX, Itsphun, CaraWonga mosaics and modular carpets, Pentiles, and 4DFrame soft blocks

1. Non-stop open workshop space for pre-school groups, school classes, afternoon arts clubs, families:

2. Hungarian logical games workshops with Logifaces, Poly-Universe and CaraWonga mosaics and modular carpets. (The workshops were supported by the Balassi Institute in Helsinki.)

3. Hallå STEAM! event

And in the festival closing minutes we caught some (but not all…) of the great people for a photo to thank for this fabulous week:
