Professor Maxwell Ho, the co-director of the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI) and an Assistant Professor at the Education University of Hong Kong, and Candy Chan, the Principal of Po Leung Kuk Tin Ka Ping Millennium Primary School, discussed key issues of education with the principals of the primary school Mäkelänmäki and the high school of Muurame.

During their visit, the delegation observed classrooms, interacted with teachers and students, and learned about the Finnish education system’s unique approach. The discussions focused on identifying potential synergies between the two countries’ education system.

Principal Petri Palve of Mäkelänmäki school Muurame and the Deputy Principal Teppo Lairio with Professor Maxwell Ho, Principal Candy Chan and Experience Workshop’s team.

The school visits provided valuable insights into the Finnish education system and continued the collaborations between Finland, mainland China and Hong Kong. We are grateful to Professor Ho, Principal Chan, and their delegation for their visit and their commitment to fostering educational exchange. Next, we are expecting a sister school student group from Beijing.
